What a miracle to hear the preaching,
To sing, listen, and shout “Amen.”
And after all of our beseeching,
To gather in the Lord’s great den.
To fellowship with our fellow brethren,
The ones the Lord has blessed us to know,
To be among the ones we’ll see in heaven,
The brothers, the sisters, the young, the old.
Can you tell me of a better way
To end a Sunday, to end a trip,
To finish a meeting, to round off the day,
Than with a bit of fellowship?
Written after attending the Camp Meeting at Stratton, Texas
