Does Jesus hear us when we pray, And does he answer prayer, Yes, he is never far away, But he is always near. So he will hear our feeble cry, And heed us when we call, Without him, we would faint and die, Without him, we would fall. He knows the burdens, we must bear, The grief, the pain and woes, And when our hearts are filled with fear, He understands and knows. He hears the whisper of the heart, Supplying every need, Oh may we from him never part, Christ is a friend indeed. Oh he will hear his children's prayer, According to his word, Just cast on him, your every care, And call upon your Lord. |
