Omnipotence

Almighty God, with outstretched hand,
The earth from void, was made,
The stars appeared at thy command,
The universe was laid.
Thy voice which spoke, let there be light,
And light shined on the sea,
For day had dawned, where it was night,
Naught is too hard for thee.
Almighty, be thy glorious name,
Omnipotent, in power,
Omnipotence, thy works proclaim,
Above the world they tower.
For thou art mighty to fulfill,
Thy purpose to complete,
No creature can destroy thy will,
Nor enemy defeat.
Whatever that thy soul desires,
Thy pleasure, thou will do,
The knowledge of thy love inspires,
Thy childrens' love to you.
Omnipotent, Almighty Lord,
No creature, great or small,
Can break or stay thy spoken word,
For thou art Lord of all.
